• My wife and I have purchased more than ten houses in our lifetime, and as we were about to make possibly our last home purchase, I was skeptical when my daughter told us she knew a realtor in the Denver area that she wanted us to work with.  Needless to say, she was correct. George Witman was the right person in the right place for us. Since we were living in western Pennsylvania, he was our eyes and ears in the Denver area.  We decided to purchase a house that was a short sale. This process required patience on our part as well as our realtor’s. We didn’t know when or if the sale would ever take place. So being tired of waiting we, were frequently asking him to go with our daughter and family to see other houses in the Denver area. He never complained or said  anything about how he felt about this use of his time. We already had a contract on the short sale. All we knew was what he told us. “I just want you to make the right choice and be happy with your decision.”  George was always ready with a professional attitude yet we felt like he was our friend. We asked him to send us pictures of other houses that he had to travel to and then email them to us. We wanted to widen doorways in the house on which we had a contract because my wife was wheelchair bound, so George went to the house and took pictures of the doorways along with measurements of the present door openings.  After several weekends like this, we heard that the short sale had indeed come through and we finally were able to purchase the house we really wanted.  My wife and I are both very pleased that our daughter suggested that we use George Witman as our realtor. George has come by our house to visit and see if we are pleased with our purchase. • We purchased our home with the help and expertise of George Witman a little over two years ago. It was an exciting time! We met with George in late May and set a plan for searching out just the right property. It was immediately apparent that he knew the local market and the areas we would be interested in based on our budget and wish list. We picked our target areas in that first meeting and went on our way figuring it would take the summer of searching…which he assured us he was more than willing to tackle with us…to find just the right property.  When we spotted a home, just a week later, my first concern was it would be an imposition to call George on the Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend. In fact it was no imposition at all and he enthusiastically met us to tour the house. Turns out it was “THE” house. He swiftly, and I do mean without hesitation, called the seller’s agent and got our offer in right away. He helped us figure out the appropriate offer based on condition of the property and the fact that we had competition…other parties were very interested in this house; we were very worried we wouldn’t get it. To this day we credit George with making it all happen. Our offer was accepted and we closed within 30 days.  The bottom line with George is that he is a man of integrity.
